Synthetic slate is a composite roofing product that replicates the visual appearance of natural slate at a fraction of the weight and cost. It is an excellent choice for Amherst’s historic and colonial-style homes, where the aesthetics of slate are desired but the structural reinforcement required for real slate isn’t practical. Master Roofers installs DaVinci and CertainTeed Symphony synthetic slate products, both of which carry 50-year warranties.
